Operational Dashboard in Maximo Manage

Operational Dashboard

The Operational Dashboard in IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) is a modernized dashboard designed to help users monitor operational performance, review key performance indicators (KPIs), track workflow assignments, access work queues, navigate to favourite applications, and execute common actions on selected records. It is based on Graphite dashboard framework

It enables users to organize operational information into configurable cards based on their business requirements. Users can view information and navigate to the associated applications or actions without having to open multiple applications individually.

The dashboard helps maintenance managers, supervisors, and operational teams monitor, analyze, prioritize, and act on information relevant to their daily responsibilities. It can also be made as a landing page for users, similar to the Start Center.

Operational Dashboard Cards

Card is a configurable visual entity in the Maximo Operational Dashboard which helps to display operational information and details. Card is categorized into Standard or Preconfigured.

Standard cards contains list of cards from Standard Card Gallery that can be added to the Operational Dashboard and configured as per the business needs.

Peconfigured cards are predefined cards with default configurations that can be added to the Operational Dashboard.

Each card will be having 2 tabs Basic and Advanced.

The Basic tab is used to configure the card’s title, subtitle, description, and display settings, such as card width and height. These settings help define how the card is identified and displayed on the Operational Dashboard. The Basic tab configuration options are depicted below.

Advanced tab is used to configure the card’s content and behaviour. The available settings depend on the selected card type, such as selecting KPIs, configuring charts, choosing data sources, selecting work queues, or specifying applications and quick actions. Advance tab settings for the available cards are depicted below.
